"Had my baby girl back!"

Our baby girl, Punkin, is a Lhasa Apso born in August 1998.  In November 2007, Punkin’s thyroid shut down.  She ballooned from a healthy 17 pounds to 32 pounds in just 3 weeks and within 10 days of the diagnosis she went blind.  After extended testing, we found out she had a fast growing macro brain tumor that damaged the thyroid and also caused permanent optic nerve damage.  We were told that she would be gone before Christmas.
 
I was not willing to accept that "my child" didn't have a chance at fighting this thing.  I started reading books and finding alternative medicines, herbal medicines, making her food . . . it all helped and she seemed to get worse much slower and some days, we would even think she might be stabilizing.  Her immune system was in major distress and she needed something else to support her.
 
Chrissy Mouser, Punkin’s groomer since 1999, gave us the greatest gift of all.  She told us about the NuVet vitamins.   The folks at the NuVet office were fabulous taking time to ask questions and answering every single one of mine.  We placed our first order and Punkin started on the vitamins immediately.  She still thinks they are treats - they come as wafers that she loves . . .

In just two months, I had my baby girl back! Her thyroid is stabilized, her spunkiness and playfulness are back, she smiles and willingly runs into things. "Could not believe my eyes"

We got Kasey June '08. We rescued her from a family in San Jose who could no longer take care of her. When we brought her home she was 25 lbs over weight but that was the only problem we had. She had no aggression problems and except for the mild arthritis she seemed fine.

In about four months she lost all the 25lbs and more. We were constantly at the vets because of ear infections. We where giving her pain medication daily because of her no longer mild arthritis. During the 6 months that we had her she started to lose all her fur and it was odd since it was December. She no longer ate her dry food and she would sleep all the time. We could no longer take her to the dog park because she got too aggressive. We could not touch her because she would growl at us. She seemed moody all the time in addition she segregated herself to a room in the house.

We asked the vet if the symptoms (weight loss, ear infections, aggressions, sever arthritis and her being lethargic) were related to something more severe but the vet told us that she was allergic to something and that she wanted to have her tested, for an addition $250 bill. She also told us that since she was a Rottweiler the aggression was par for the course and arthritis was caused by bad breeding.
We did not know what to do. We though she was surely going to die.

At the time I was studying dog nutrition and health and I soon realized that Kasey had all the symptoms of thyroid. We could not afford the $200 per month medication that the vet wanted to give us; in addition there were too many side affects. I researched a natural vitamin that took care of the problem. That is when I came by the name NuVet.  Even though we were skeptical, because it seemed too good to be true, we tried it.

After three days that Kasey was taking the vitamins I could not believe my eyes. She was running around all happy and she ate all her food as if nothing was ever wrong. She no longer segregated herself and she wanted us to pet her and love on her. What was most amazing to me was the fact that her ear infection cleared up in what seemed like overnight and her coat was show dog quality. After about two weeks we took her back to the dog park and to my surprise there where no dog fights, not even a growl. 

Today Kasey is a happy go lucky 8 yr old and everyone cannot believe it because she looks so young and well taken care of. We have not been to the vet since November of '08. And now we have to be the ones that tell her to slow down. We love NuVet and we trust that wafer with our dog’s life. Because of NuVet we know that Kasey will live a long happy life.

"Difference is remarkable"

I found Topper abandoned on a wet street on a rainy night circling in front of cars. I brought him home and placed him in a back yard to call the Humane Society. He had cataracts and his coat was covered in feces, his claws were at least 1” long, one was ripped, his duel claws looked as if they had never been trimmed and his teeth were in terrible shape. After three days I decided to place an ad in the paper and get him groomed. No one claimed him, but by that time my husband and I fell in love with this poor mistreated animal. 

Topper’s flesh was constantly red hot and he scratched himself raw. His hair kept falling out; you could see the skin on his back. Our veterinarian put him on an allergy free diet, sold me topical ointment, the groomer use hyper-allergenic products, and nothing helped except cortisone shots and tablets. For over a year he was on a steady diet of cortisone, and then he started developing thyroid problems. 

On one of my trips to Gwen’s Grooming in San Bernardino, Gwen suggested NuVet Plus for dogs. After the first 2 weeks of one tablet daily, I stopped the Cortisone tablets. After nine months, his coat has gotten much thicker, his scratching is under control, and he is a much healthier dog. The difference is remarkable. NuVet Plus has been the best investment of all the hundreds of dollars I have spent. 

Topper is the best dog we have ever owned, he is loving and affectionate to all who come through our door. He is a wonderfully trained housedog and a great companion. He deserves his happiness and his health, and NuVet Plus has to be credited for that. We will not let one day go by without giving Topper his NuVet Plus.

"Thyroid is normal!!!"

For starters I would like to thank everyone that formulated NuVet Plus for Canines, which I found by searching for desperate answers online to help my baby in the white dog suit (his name is Octavius Miller) approximately three months ago.  After countless hours of searching I was led to believe he had a thyroid problem so I took him to the vet for blood work.  Sure enough he was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. 

I read all of the NuVet testimonials and felt confident that NuVet Plus could correct this problem as stated online but decided to give one pill/day of Soloxine (not two per instructions from vet) plus supplement it with one wafer of NuVet Plus per day.  Octavius was bright eyed and bushy tailed in about 7 days.  He was back to his puppy days.  Octavius is now 4 years old. 

On December 30, 2009 Octavius' thyroid was checked.  Thrilled with the result:  HIS THYROID IS NORMAL!!!  But would you believe that the vet wanted me to discontinue giving him the NuVet supplement because he thought it increased his water intake.  After careful thought and consideration in addition to speaking with quite a few pet owners, I said to myself "No Way" would I compromise my baby's health.  Eventually I'll discontinue Soloxine which is synthetic.  And I might discontinue the vet.  But I don't want to rock any boats right now.

Oh and that cute brother Tiberius Miller in the other dog suit is now taking NuVet.  He took to them right away.  I firmly believe these wafers will keep them at optimum healthy levels.

"A happier Pom"

Just wanted to thank you for your wonderful product. I believe I placed my first order on February 23, 2009 and now I am currently on your autoship program.

I have owned Pomeranians for approximately 20 years and I know that many purebred dogs come with many problems. We lost our first Pomeranian “Teddy” on May 14th, 2003 he was 15 years old. Six months later, my late husband and I decided to get another Pom puppy and we named him “Teddy Boy” Teddy Boy came from champion bloodlines and he also came with many health issues. The main one is Thyroid Disease. Even though he had been on medication for several years now, he still was practically hairless, had the dark gray scaly skin, lack of appetite and shivering. He would sometimes become delirious.

As a believer of vitamins and natural supplements, I searched the internet for help with his Thyroid problem and I finally came upon your website. After reading all about your product NuVet Plus K-9, I decided to place an order and give your product a try. It was the best decision that I had ever made. It was heaven sent. I can honestly say that it has gradually changed my little Teddy Boys life and now I also give it to my two other Poms, C.J and Buddy as well.
